Documentation for an invented point-of-sale app.
An invented product for this template, so that a documentation layout can be shown with real structure: a sidebar, a reference, a changelog and pages that answer one question each.
Support questions
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Sales are stored on the device and sync when the connection returns.
Can two tills share one stock count?
Yes, from version 4.0. Each till reserves stock as it sells.
How do I export for my accountant?
Reports, then Export. A CSV per month, and a PDF summary.
Where is the data kept?
On the device, and in the account you connect. Nothing else.
Documentation for an invented point-of-sale app.
Version 4.2
The other four arrangements for a documentation
Same fictitious business, same content, arranged four other ways. How does it work, and where is the answer to my question?
Sidebar and article
Every page in a tree on the left, the answer on the right. The arrangement people expect from documentation, and the right default.

Card landing
Six doors instead of a tree. Choose it for the front page of a set of guides, where a sidebar is premature.

Two-column reference
Name and type on the left, what it means on the right. Choose it for the page nobody reads and everybody searches.
